A Woman Broken – The Beginnings

She awoke in a daze.

How long had she been asleep? The quiet air revealed it night’s darkness had yet to fade.

How could that be though? Surely she had been asleep longer than that. Her body ached all over. Hardened like stone, as though she’d been asleep for years.

Her mind grew blank searching for that which she could not recall. Another episode perhaps?

Her mind continued to search. Hazy, dreamlike memories crept in. Were these really dreams? Or had that really happened?

Half-asleep she stumbled to the shower. Perhaps once she was more awake it would all make more sense. Life perhaps would make sense again.

The World Keeps On Moving

I’ve been gone for awhile. Life is crazy hectic. Real hectic. The home I live in has been condemned. Despite my searching, daily, for a new home to move into, we have yet to find one, and the clock is ticking down. And the end of the month is simply coming too fast for my likings. Boxes to pack, things to sell, give-away and all that fun stuff.

I’ve cut a lot of ties this past week. False faces, lying individuals, who simply have no place in my world anymore. I’ve faced some of my own demons, with strength, and determination, and even through all I have endured this week, I still keep faith. Life is good.

I continue to hold faith that we will find a home in time. A home perfect for us.I know the universe will provide. So we pack and get ready to begin fresh, anew.

Till then, the world keeps on moving.

I’ve finally reached a point, I’m ready to release my personal poetry book. I had it all typed up good to go, but I just wasn’t ready for it yet. I’ve reached that point that I am ready. It’s taken almost a year to reach it but I have. And so in the coming days and weeks, post by post I will be revealing parts of it.
