I Dreamt A Dream

April 18th, 2011

To find the shortest path
to any dream, work with ideas, not facts. Dwell upon the end result, not the how’s. And rely upon the Universe, not yourself. – The Universe

I’m a dreamer. I am. I’ll be the first to admit it. As a child I dreamed of a better life. Off far of places I would visit, of people I’d discover where related to me, and simply of dreams. As I aged I never stopped dreaming. I’ve always dreamed of bigger, better things. Of a better life for me and those I love dearly.

I have a dream… It’s to live somewhere warm. Somewhere that indoor heat isn’t a necessity of survival. In a massive place. A place that allows all my children their own rooms, their own space. Their own little worlds within our one big world. A place where my animals have space to play and run. A space, a place all my own.

Reinventing Ones Self And Beyond

April 17th, 2011

The purpose of life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well-preserved body, but rather to Slide in Sideways, completely used up, yelling and screaming, what a ride! — Author Unknown

When I reach the end of my life, I sure as heck ain’t gonna be arriving in a well preserved body. I’m going to be sliding in, broken, bruised and rebuilt over and over again.Yelling and screaming, probably a lot of that LOL. But hey I’ve lived, I’ve loved, I’ve lost.

The Universe Speaks Loudly

April 16th, 2011

A while back I spoke about the lessons the universe was teaching me. Here are some more of those great little things the universe is shouting my way:

So loved,
The Universe

Wow, What A Week

April 13th, 2011

This week started early, with my little girl Gaia giving birth to 6 beautiful little pups, 4 girls, 2 boys. What an amazing exhausting day. Did I mention, it was Alexzandria’s birthday?! Almost 5 years exactly from the time I was giving birth to my beautiful little princess, I was helping my sweet Gaia bring her own babies into this world. From helping her break amniotic sacs to cleaning pups it was an amazing experience (albeit somewhat gross LOL) She did great, and the pups are doing well, and already getting big.

Then of course came the fun of the day with Alex and her fifth birthday. It’s amazing to think that little 5 pound babe has grown into the beautiful, sweet girl that now graces my life. We had fun, spent a lot of time as a family and she enjoyed her special day.

I Think I Can, I Think I Can, I Think I Can!

April 11th, 2011

A little train once said, “I think I can, I think I can” and like that train I too believe in myself. In my ability to over come resistance and bounce back with resiliance. And when I don’t think I can do it anymore, I say to myself, You Can Do It. Because I know I can do it. I know that no matter what the world, or the universe throws my way, I can do it if I simply put my mind to it.

So I’ve started my plan, and am doing my best to follow it. And I can feel my creative juices coming back, as well as a motivation I had lost to some degree. It’s working. And I can feel it.
